19 Weeks

19 Weeks old and getting into the holiday spirit

18 Weeks

Here is Wyatt with is best buddy and protector, Hailey. At 18 weeks, Wyatt is really pushing up great. I think he watches the older kids at daycare crawl around and is really trying to emulate them, except he hasn't quite been able to make any sort of traction with his movements. It more or less looks like he's surfing because he'll lay on his belly and his arms and legs are moving a mile a minute, but he's just spinning in circles! I have a feeling though that we're going to have a mobile baby in no time at all!

Wyatt's visit with Santa

Wyatt met Jolly Old St. Nick for the first time and LOVED him! He whispered in Santa's ear all the things he wanted this year...formula, diapers, wipes, a good nights rest for Mommy and Daddy...you know, the usual stuff. What a special moment to always remember! 

4 Month Checkup and Cereal

Wyatt had his 4 month check up today and is doing great! 

Here are his stats:

Weight - 16 pounds, 2 ounces, 71st percentile

Height: 26 inches, 82nd percentile

Head Circumference - 17 inches - 72nd percentile

Looks like he's going to be tall like his mommy

We also got the go ahead from the doctor to introduce Wyatt to Rice Cereal. Enjoy the pictures :)

4 months old

Where has the time gone?!?!?! Can't believe Wyatt is 4 months old already. He is such a good baby and has the most wonderful personality. He's had a couple of colds lately...runny nose, cough, the usual daycare stuff...but that hasn't put a damper on his spirits. He might wake up 4 or 5 times in the middle of the night, thus allowing us not to get much sleep, but when he smiles at you when you take him out of the crib in the morning...none of that matters anymore! At least I know that everyday is going to be a good day because they all start with a big gummy smile :) Wyatt babbles all the time and is a very active listener. He makes eye contact with you and totally engages in what you have to say and really loves to explore the world around him. I think one of his favorite things to do is look at new people and things. He's never met a stranger and is perfectly content being held by anyone, but independent at the same time.  We love you little buddy and are having a blast watching you change and develop into a sweet little boy!

Just Chilling in my Bouncy Seat

16 Weeks

At 16 Weeks of age, Wyatt has really become quite a ham. He can sit up in a tripod position (legs spread out with my hands on the floor in between), he can roll over both ways, and everything he sees he wants to EAT! He also developed a new sound...a high pitch squeal/babble and he loves to talk talk talk. He LOVES to watch FOOTBALL and really likes the X-Factor, a singing competition on TV. We will put him in his crib in one position and then find him in a completely different location and position in the morning. The other day, he had his hands up behind his head with his little feet propped up on his bumper. He's quite the flirt at the daycare center and EVERYONE there seems to know him. Can't believe how fast he's growing! We go to the doctor next week....any guesses on how much he weighs?

Surrender the Spaghetti

We celebrated Debra's birthday the day after Thanksgiving at an Italian restaurant here in Watkinsville called Dominick's. It's a family style kind of restaurant where you order a few things and then share them with everyone at the table. Wyatt wasn't having his car seat anymore so Joe put him up on his lap. All of a sudden, Wyatt's eyes got really BIG as he eyed the bowl of spaghetti in front of him. If Joe hadn't held him back, he probably would have crawled right into that bowl of spaghetti! I think it's probably safe to say that he'll be ready to dig into solid foods once he reaches 6 months of age!

15 Weeks

Our little turkey turned 15 weeks old on Thanksgiving day! We are truly thankful for such a wonderful blessing. Wyatt adds so much joy to our lives and instantly turns a bad day into a great day with just one smile :)

14 Weeks

All this fun I'm having at 14 weeks of age is EXHAUSTING!!!!

3 Months Old

Happy 3 Month Birthday to our little guy on 11.11.11! At 3 months, Wyatt is rolling over from his tummy to his back, and can roll from his back to his side...just needs a little more oomph to get over onto his tummy, but he's almost there. He smiles and babbles all the time and it just might be the cutest thing I've ever seen! He is very alert and will track us from across the room. He sleeps through the night and has become quite the traveler...went on a 3hr, 5hr, and 8.5hr road trip, all in a matter of 3 weeks! He had his first little cold, but that didn't slow him down. He's a mover and a shaker and is the love of our life!

13 Weeks

13 Weeks today! Here I am jumping around in my bouncy seat!!!

First Day of Daycare

Wyatt's first day of daycare was on Wednesday, November 9th. It was a bittersweet day for me...sad that I wouldn't get to spend my mornings and afternoons with my little guy, but excited for him to meet new friends and gain a little independence for himself. I'm also pretty glad to be getting a paycheck again and getting an opportunity to interact with adults on a professional level. There were a few tears, but I did a lot better then I thought I would and I'm proud of myself :)

 Kissing on my sweet baby before I had to take him inside. Found out while we were there that the class is made up of all boys and one girl. Wyatt is going to have so much fun! 

About an hour or so after I got to work, this little bouquet arrived. The note said, "Momma, thank you for being the best mom a son could ask for. I am having a good day playing and meeting my new friends. Love you and can't wait to see you later. I'm doing my best to do a stinky here an not at home. Love, Wyatt" Aside from Wyatt's birth, this made my year :)

12 Weeks

Happy Halloween

 

Happy Halloween from our little pumpkin to yours! Today Wyatt and I had a little photo shoot in the back yard for his first Halloween. Wyatt went as a horse this year and at the neighborhood Halloween party, he was by far the cutest! (Maybe I'm a little biased) Here are the pictures from Wyatt's first Halloween!!!

Beach Baby

 Last week we headed down to Anna Maria Island, Florida to take Wyatt to the beach for the first time. Grandma LiLi, Wyatt, and I drove down on Saturday and then Joe came down on Tuesday to join us. Wyatt did great both on the way down and on the way back. We only had to stop once during the 8 1/2 hour trip, and that was for lunch both ways. I got a little beach tent for Wyatt so that he would be out of the sun while we were on the beach, and we put his little activity mat inside the tent and he was as happy as a clam. He didn't seem to mind getting the sand between his toes either...looks like he's going to love the beach as much as his daddy and I do! Can't wait until our next trip when he's running around and building sand castles!!!
