What's in a Name...

So Joe and I have come up with a name for baby Peters that we think will suit him well...

Wyatt Joseph Peters

Wyatt means "little warrior" and brave, strong, and hardy. The most famous Wyatt was Wyatt Earp (1848 - 1929) who was a lawman and gunfighter involved at the famous shootout at the OK Corral. These are all cool facts, but there are other reasons why we picked this name.

For one, the name Joseph is very prevalent on both sides of our family. Joe's name is James Joseph Peters, and his dad and grandpa are both William Joseph Peters. On my side of the family, my grandfather's first name was Joseph. We also like the initials W.J.P ~ which are the same initials of Wyatt's grandpa and great grandpa on the Peters' side. And finally, I've always loved the name and like that it's not super popular and part of the Hollywood baby name fads.

We know Wyatt will live up to his namesake and will definitely be one little warrior :)
